Welcome to Forbidden Bite. By accessing or purchasing from www.forbiddenbite.sg, you agree to the following terms and policies. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. General Information

Forbidden Bite is a Singapore-based, Muslim-owned bakery specialising in freshly baked cookies, brownies, cookie pies, and dessert products. All items are made to order unless otherwise stated.

2. Orders & Payments

All orders must be placed via our website unless otherwise arranged.
Orders are only confirmed upon successful payment.
Prices listed are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are subject to change without prior notice.
Once an order is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded due to the perishable and made-to-order nature of our products.

3. Lead Time & Availability

Standard lead time is 2–3 days, unless stated otherwise.
Same-day or urgent orders are subject to availability and must be confirmed with us before placing an order.
During festive or peak periods, lead times may be longer.

4. Delivery & Self-Collection

Delivery Options

We offer delivery via:

Singapore Post (third-party courier)
In-house or private courier
Self-collection (if available)

Available options will be displayed at checkout.

Courier Disclaimer

Singapore Post and third-party couriers are external service providers.
While we take great care to package all items securely using bubble wrap and protective materials, minor breakage or damage may occur during transit.
By selecting third-party courier services, customers acknowledge that Forbidden Bite is not responsible for damages caused during delivery.

For fragile items, we strongly recommend choosing our in-house or private courier option.

5. Delivery Timing

Delivery dates are estimates and subject to courier schedules.
Delays caused by couriers, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances are beyond our control.
Forbidden Bite will not be liable for late deliveries caused by third-party couriers.

6. Refunds, Returns & Exchanges

Due to the nature of freshly baked goods:

All sales are final
No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be accepted once an order is confirmed
This includes change of mind, incorrect selection, or dissatisfaction due to taste preference

If you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 24 hours with clear photos for review.

7. Product Appearance

All products are handcrafted and freshly baked.
Slight variations in size, colour, decoration, or texture are normal and do not constitute defects.
Product images are for reference and presentation purposes.

8. Halal Assurance

All our products are made using Halal-certified ingredients.
Forbidden Bite is a Muslim-owned business, and we adhere to Halal preparation practices.
We do not use alcohol, lard, or non-Halal ingredients.

9. Allergy Disclaimer

Our kitchen handles ingredients including:

Nuts
Dairy
Eggs
Gluten

While we take care, cross-contamination may occur. Customers with severe allergies are advised to order at their own discretion.

10. Storage & Consumption

Products are best consumed fresh.
Storage instructions may vary by product and will be provided where applicable.
Forbidden Bite is not responsible for quality issues arising from improper storage after delivery or collection.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images, logos, designs, text, and branding, belongs to Forbidden Bite and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

Forbidden Bite shall not be held liable for:

Courier-related delays or damages
Allergic reactions due to undisclosed sensitivities
Issues arising from incorrect information provided by the customer
Events beyond reasonable control
