About Us

About Forbidden Bite

Forbidden Bite was born from a simple belief:
that dessert should do more than taste good — it should make you feel something.

What started as a love for baking slowly became a way to create comfort, joy, and connection through food. Every loaf, cookie, and dessert we make is crafted to feel familiar yet indulgent — the kind of treat that makes you pause, smile, and savour the moment.

Our Story

Behind Forbidden Bite is Zara, a baker at heart who has always found joy in feeding people and seeing their faces light up with that first bite. Baking was never just a hobby — it was her way of expressing care, creativity, and warmth.

When Zara was diagnosed with a brain tumour, life understandably changed. But one thing didn’t: her love for baking. Even on difficult days, the kitchen remained a place of comfort, focus, and healing. Measuring, mixing, and baking became a reminder that joy can still be created — and shared — no matter what challenges life brings.

Forbidden Bite grew from that resilience. From choosing ingredients with intention, to perfecting recipes one batch at a time, this brand is built on perseverance, passion, and a deep desire to make others happy.

What We Believe In

We believe desserts should:

  • Feel comforting, not rushed

  • Be indulgent, not careless

  • Taste homemade, but better

  • Leave you feeling satisfied, warm, and just a little happier

Every product is baked in small batches using quality, halal-friendly ingredients, prepared in a Muslim-owned kitchen with care and integrity.

More Than Just Desserts

Forbidden Bite isn’t about perfection.
It’s about heart.

It’s about creating moments — a quiet tea break, a shared slice, a late-night treat — that feel special in the middle of everyday life.

If our bakes bring you even a fraction of the joy they bring us while making them, then we’ve done what we set out to do.
